- In order to get Dr.Gini Program work, a program called Ediabas must be properly installed.
- BMW cars produced before 2003 are not supported yet.

How to install 2017 BMW Dr. Gini Diagnostic Program?
Step 1: Before install Dr.Gini, first you need to install EDIABAS.
In the EDIABAS folder, run the EDIABAS _7.3.0.msi file to install the EDIABAS program.
It is recommended that you do not change any settings during installation.
Step 2: Unpack the "Setup Dr.Gini B014 EN.zip" and run the program to install Dr.Gini.
At the end of the installation, the menu that you want to run the program is checked, but since the setup is not completed yet, it is unchecked and the installation is completed.
Step 3: After extracting the compressed files in the ECU folder, copy them to the ECU folder where EDIABAS program is installed.
If you did not change the settings during installation, this is the C:\ EDIABAS\ ECU folder.
Step 4: Copy the EDIABAS.INI file located in the "INTERFACES" folder→ ENET Ediabas.INI folder and overwrite the C: \ EDIABAS \ BIN folder, as Dr.Gini will be connected by the ENET cable.
You need to copy the api32.dll file in the "API32.DLL" folder to the folder below for each operating system.
For Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 64-bit operating systems:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64
For Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 32-bit operating systems:
C:\Windows\System32
Step 5(The final step): Copy the Gini_B020.exe file to the C: \ EDIABAS \ BIN folder.
Sometimes, Gini_B020.exe is recognized as a malicious program and may be removed from an anti-virus program. If you feel that this process is unstable, you can just delete this file.
- Now BMW Dr. Gini installation is complete!
Connect your car with BMW Dr. Gini via BMW ICOM, ICOM NEXT, INPA K+DCAN Cable or ENET Cable. And it's ready to use!
Turn on car ignition and run the Dr.Gini.exe located in the C:\EDIABAS\BIN folder.
Click the "Identification" button at the bottom of the screen. Then the software will directly connect to vehicle.
